Lapero Shares Importance of ADA Compliance at 2023 SILC Congress

A few of our team members recently had the pleasure of exhibiting at the 25th annual SILC Congress. Attendees gathered in Little Rock, Arkansas to learn more about new techniques to develop and monitor SPILs (State Plans for Independent Living), build organizational capacity, emergency preparedness, digital access and to work on further diversifying the Independent Living network.

We worked closely with the Arkansas State Independent Living Council(ARSILC) to elevate their digital presence with a custom website solution. Given the successful launch of ARSILC’s new site, we wanted to continue to raise awareness throughout the Independent Living network on how important it is for a website to be properly designed and developed. One of the topics we covered was the importance of ADA Compliance. Overall, we had a great time creating new relationships and raising awareness throughout the Independent Living Network.
